Safety at Frendis
Verified hosts
Every host on Frendis can carry a verification badge and, once they've completed a meetup, a track record you can see right on their profile — how many meetups they've hosted and how they were rated. A host with a real history behind them is a much stronger signal than a generic 'verified' checkmark, and it's the trust signal we lean on most.
Report & block
Use the (•••) menu on any activity, chat, or profile to report content or behaviour that violates our community rules. Every report is reviewed by our team, and you can block anyone at any time — blocking is immediate and the other person is never notified.
Community rules
Be respectful. Treat every participant with kindness and respect — personal attacks, insults, and discriminatory language are not tolerated. Stay safe. Never share personal financial information, and trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave the activity and report it. Report problems. Use the (•••) menu to flag anything that violates these rules; every report is reviewed by our team.
A note for women
Meet in public places, especially for a first meetup, and consider bringing a friend along if that feels more comfortable. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it's always okay to leave. Our team is here if you need to report anything.
